PTR x PETALUS PROD present: Sheer Terror (US) - Punk Hardcore Sheer Terror, an American punk hardcore band from New York, was formed in December 1984. The original lineup included singer Paul Bearer, guitarist Alan Blake, bassist Baron "Barry" Misuraca, and drummer Sam "Reid" Lohman. The band appeared on the compilation One Big Crowd and released two demos on cassette in 1987. The band's first album, Just Can't Hate Enough, was released in 1990 under Blackout Records. After lineup changes, Sheer Terror released their second album, Ugly and Proud, in 1992. They signed with MCA Records for the release of Love Songs for the Unloved in 1995. Despite these efforts, Sheer Terror disbanded in 1998 due to internal conflicts and label issues. The band briefly reformed in October 2004 for two concerts at the CBGB Club in New York.
