Description

A biting comedy about digital addiction, where a teenager discovers that her newfound freedom is lost in screen time and sleepless nights.
At first, it seems like a promise, that of a new, exhilarating, almost magical freedom. At 12, a girl receives her first phone. A window opens onto her world, her friends, her desires. She laughs, discovers, emancipates herself. But very quickly, pleasure turns into need. The gesture becomes reflex, then necessity, and euphoria gives way to the insidious mechanics of addiction. And as she abandons what once made her vibrate, read, draw, dream, likes reassure, notifications oppress, and scrolling anesthetizes. Between laughter and discomfort, director Sylviane Tille denounces a contemporary dependency in a creation that speaks to all ages and makes you want to lift your eyes from your screen.
