Description

Families will spend a memorable night in a meticulously reconstructed Roman soldier's quarters at Legionärspfad Vindonissa. Under the guidance of a Roman soldier or woman, participants will learn essential skills of a Roman soldier, cook a traditional meal over an open fire, and enjoy activities like fighting, games, and campfire storytelling. The highlight is sleeping on straw mattresses inside the authentic Contubernium, offering a unique Roman sleeping experience. The next morning begins with a self-made Roman breakfast, testing the skills learned the previous day.
