Lilo Priochotta (Drums) On October 5, 2025, the theater hall of Augustinum Heidelberg will transform for the first time into a rock palace – thanks to the captivating band "Caravel," which is now returning to this stage for the second time. The young five-member band was founded in 2021 at the Popakademie Mannheim and represents a contemporary renaissance of rock music. The band takes its name from the sailing ships that Christopher Columbus used to discover America. Both these caravels and the band Caravel symbolize innovation, perseverance, and adaptability. Just as the caravels set sail from the Old World to a New one, Caravel seeks and finds its own musical world on the sea of rock music. To achieve this, the band combines the style of its musical influences from the 70s (Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin) with modern influences. In line with the anniversary motto "50 years of MULTI-VOCAL," Caravel returns to the stage at Augustinum – and looks forward to old and new fans!
