Profeti della Quinta is an internationally active vocal ensemble with a focus on music from the 16th and early 17th centuries. Based on historically informed performance practice, the ensemble combines scholarly research with lively, expressive interpretation and is particularly dedicated to rediscovering forgotten works, including Salomone Rossi's Hashirim asher li'Shlomo.
Founded by bassist and harpsichordist Elam Rotem in Galilee, Profeti della Quinta is now based in Switzerland. All members studied early music at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis. After winning the York Early Music Young Artists Competition in 2011, the ensemble performs worldwide and has released a highly acclaimed discography of late Renaissance music. Members:
