Description

A recital with sonatas for violin and piano by the legendary composers Ludwig van Beethoven and Johannes Brahms. The 21-year-old German-Spanish-Malaysian violinist Elias David Moncado is the youngest winner of the 1st Grand Prix at the International Karol Lipinski Competition in Poland. In 2021, he won the 1st prize at the International Valsesia Musica Competition in Italy and the 1st prize at the International Vladimir Spivakov Competition in Russia within two weeks. Moncado has performed as a soloist with renowned orchestras such as the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra and the Sendai Philharmonic Orchestra, and is a regular guest at major and prestigious music festivals. Aimo Pagin was born in 1983 in Strasbourg. He received his first lessons at the age of 7. In 2001, he completed his soloist studies at the Conservatoire Supérieur de musique de Genève and then became a master student of the legendary pianist Leon Fleisher in the USA.
