Mama Shakers: The "young wild ones from Paris" bring fresh air and new songs to jazz & blues! This mix of hits from the "Roaring Twenties", obscure jazz, blues, and country songs, as well as their own chansons by the Swedish-French whirlwind Angela Strandberg - garnished with multi-voiced singing and an incredibly lively stage presence - is unique. Their concerts across Europe are received with great enthusiasm by audiences and the media. Bandleader, energetic singer, and trumpeter is Angela Strandberg. She grew up in Stockholm and Paris, where her mother is a well-known jazz musician. In Paris, she founded this band, whose repertoire is a colorful mix of danceable jazz and blues titles from the 20s and 30s, seasoned with beautiful and wild songs from jazz, bluegrass swings, and blues. Angela Strandberg - trumpet, vocals, washboard; Hugo Proy - clarinet, vocals; Baptiste Hec - guitar, dobro, vocals; William Ohlund - banjo; Gabriel Seyer - double bass.
