Music through the ages: From Joseph Haydn to Taylor Swift. Exciting and interactive children’s and youth concert from 8 years old. Engaging young people with string instruments is a special concern of the four musicians. With child-friendly anecdotes and playful examples, the Feuerbach Quartet not only brings classical music to the stage but also well-known melodies of today. Because string instruments are as timeless as music itself. No wonder that on the violin you can not only play Mozart but also Taylor Swift. Mozart sells his compositions to finance his gambling addiction. Dvorak leaves his children behind while fleeing to the USA. The world of classical music is no less dramatic than an American blockbuster. When these exciting stories are heard musically, when Dmitri Shostakovich makes us experience the Cold War again, and when four classical string instruments suddenly sound like a rock band, it not only amazes children. In this way, the music of the last centuries is vividly and humorously celebrated, culminating in performances of well-known pop songs by the Beatles, Michael Jackson, and Billie Eilish.
