The exhibition 'Pino Musi. Continuum', curated by Michael Jakob, presents a selection of black-and-white photographs exploring form, matter, and the perception of space. Designed as a site-specific project, the exhibition utilizes the circular shape of the exhibition space and unfolds in six thematic sections with long image sequences that function as a continuous panoramic narrative. The exhibition invites visitors to explore the diverse themes of Musi's artistic work, where photography and reflections on space intertwine, transforming the act of seeing into a form of knowledge: the relationship between ruins and the origins of architecture, the meaning of dwelling, transformations and transitions of built space, and the tensions between the concepts of surface, form, and incompleteness. The exhibition is complemented by three large-scale works dedicated to the recent restoration of Notre-Dame, and a selection of artist books highlighting Musi's focus on book design as an autonomous and interdisciplinary expressive medium.
