Photographer Giovanni Luisoni presents in this exhibition a selection of large-format images, in color and black and white, from his new volume; Arzo-La cava delrossoSalvioni Edizioni. A work carried out over two decades from the early 2004 until 2016. A section of the Patriziato of Arzo, located within the Monte San Giorgio area, which has been a UNESCO World Heritage site since 2003. "The territory of the Arzo quarries is a strong historical testimony to the efforts, the hard work of excavation and processing of marble that engaged many of our ancestors and fellow citizens, allowing them to support and grow their families while bringing the name of Arzo throughout Europe and the world." The exhibition is accompanied by the eponymous volume; available during the exhibition, at bookstores, at the Patriziato, and from the publisher.
