Fungus Excursion - with Udo Schäfer

Description

Together with fungus and plant expert Udo Schäfer, embark on an exploration tour in the forest near Beschenhof between Schramberg-Sulgen and Dunningen. The excursion is aimed at nature enthusiasts, mushroom friends, and everyone interested in learning more about the local mushroom world. No prior knowledge is required. At the beginning, participants will receive a brief introduction to the fascinating world of fungi. Afterwards, the found mushrooms will be identified and discussed directly in the forest. Udo Schäfer will clearly explain how to distinguish edible, inedible, and poisonous species and will give valuable tips on proper collecting and responsible handling of mushrooms. Besides mushrooms, flowers, plants, mosses, and lichens are also the focus of the excursion. Participants' questions are always welcome—whether beginners or experienced mushroom collectors. At the end, all collected mushrooms will be checked together. The excursion provides solid knowledge and raises awareness for a mindful approach to nature.
