Description

A fiery parable for children and adults aged 6 and up. Harbor rat Ratzig has settled in comfortably. She works at the harbor administration, department "Allessauberwunderbar" and lives in the bread drum in the middle of the pantry. One night, a stowaway, land rat Berry Bill, seeks shelter and protection from the biting street dogs. He is a land rat from the spice island Pikante and tells enchanting stories from his land all night long. The most beautiful days in the lives of the two begin... If it weren't for the nasty, bald cat Kralle Knickauge, who constantly stalks them, life could be sweet as sugar.
But one day, Berry Bill disappears as if swallowed by the earth. Ratte Ratzig sees red and decides to build a ship to search for Berry Bill and his exotic island. Like in a dream, she crosses the wheat egg and boards the Goudamalaya. She anchors in trap-free land, dances on the volcano of Popcorn Land, and digs through the underworld of Kanalien. But no sign of Berry Bill. Rescue comes in the form of a huge package that stands in front of the door one morning...
