Admission: 50 CZK / 30 CZK reduced (high school students, U3V listeners) / free for seniors over 70 years old (tickets can be purchased in advance at TIC Kadaň or online, discounts can only be applied when purchasing at TIC). The next guest of the city library will be Petr Nazarov. A talk about how Czech settlers settled among the Danube hills and how they have preserved their language, customs, and way of life for two centuries. Join us on a journey to places where ancient Czech is still spoken, where the landscape smells of dried hay and old times, and where Czech villages live their peaceful rhythm, almost forgotten by the world, but not by the people who still lovingly cultivate the land of their ancestors. Come on Tuesday, 10.11.2026 at 5 PM to the city library – tower for a discussion titled BANÁT: the story of a Czech island in the heart of the Balkans.
