Description
Admission: freeOn Saturday, November 7, 2026, the 22nd edition of Kirwitzer Day will take place in the refectory of the Franciscan monastery, presenting interesting topics from science, history, and culture to the general public. Kirwitzer Day is essentially a series of popular lectures on various themes. Václav Pantaleon Kirwitzer (1588 – 1626), a native of Kadaň, whose name sponsors the entire event, was an astronomer and missionary in Southeast Asia. The program starts at 3 PM. The program will be specified.
