The exhibition Mezi námi presents the work of Markéta Bábková, who through paintings and graphics opens themes of memories, personal experiences, relationships, and the search for one's identity. The author transforms seemingly ordinary objects into carriers of emotions and stories that invite the viewer to pause and observe attentively. A significant role is played by the motif of time – not only captured in the works but also the time that the viewer dedicates to discovering hidden details. The entire exhibition is connected by the symbol of doors as a boundary between the inner and outer world, between memories, experiences, and what we share with others. The exhibition thus creates a space for dialogue between the author, the work, and the personal experience of each visitor. An accompanying program for the public will take place – Woodcut Workshop (15. 10. 2026 at 4 PM).
