Description
Peter understands the language of animals, and he lives with his grandfather in the countryside. Here he can play with a bird, a cat, and a duck. One day, a wolf sneaks in and steals the duck from the yard, but the bird helps him, and Peter manages to catch the wolf. With Sergei Prokofiev's original music, the Theater Marotte tells this musical fairy tale refreshingly new: Grandpa fetches instruments from the radio, the table becomes a flower meadow, and waves move in the drawer – all furniture turns into play material, nothing remains the same. Meanwhile, the large and small audience get to know the different orchestral instruments and associate them with the characters: the flute trill like a bird, the oboe quack like a duck, and Grandpa is grumpy like a bassoon... A theater experience of a special kind: entertaining, exciting, and musical! Featuring: Thomas Hänsel (play); Rainer Schicketanz (figures, stage); Heribert Schnaibel (direction)
