Drummer and jazz award winner Eva Klesse has been one of the influential figures in European jazz for years. Together with Tino Derado, Evgeny Ring, and Marc Muellbauer, her quartet develops music that can be complex without creating distance from the audience. Finely crafted, open, and full of movement, the band's performances are characterized by a joy of playing that repeatedly arises from mutual listening and reacting on stage.
