Description
The Gipsoteca Giudici hosts the sculpture Penthesilea by sculptor Hans-Peter Profunser until December 2026. The presentation of the work is related to the exhibition "Human and Environment – The Destroyer," displayed at the San Giovanni Battista monument in Gnosca and organized by the Peccia sculpture school. This project creates a dialogue between two places connected through their focus on sculpture, materiality, and contemporary artistic research. On one side, the exhibition in Gnosca, which explores the relationship between humans and the environment through the works of thirteen artists; on the other, the Gipsoteca, which presents Penthesilea as a testament to this artistic journey and as an opportunity for visitors to deepen their understanding. The sculpture can be viewed during the Gipsoteca's opening hours (Wednesday to Friday from 14:00 to 18:00) and at events organized by the foundation. If you haven't visited the Gipsoteca yet, now is another opportunity. We look forward to your visit.
