"Art Walks" is an inspiring tour through the art galleries and street art of Lugano, created in collaboration with GAL, the association of the city's galleries. The tour offers the opportunity to discover contemporary art and meet influential figures of the avant-garde cultural scene, whose work significantly contributes to the vibrant and international appeal of the city. Through their nuanced perspective on the current art scene, participants gain insights into the creation and development of today's art scene. The GAL Association – Gallerie d'Arte di Lugano Founded in January 2023, the association brings together the long-established art galleries of Lugano, which are an integral part of the city's cultural life. Each gallery, with its own history and professional expertise, has joined forces to work in synergy and create a dynamic, sustainable network for the benefit of the region. Dates Saturday, March 21, 2026, 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM: - Meeting point: Main entrance of Palazzo dei Congressi Lugano, Piazza Indipendenza 4, Lugano - Street art tour and visit to the Kromya Art Gallery Friday, May 29, 2026, 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM: - Meeting point: 5:00 PM at the Imago Art Gallery, Via Nassa 46, Lugano - Visit to the Imago Art Gallery, Galleria Allegra Ravizza, and Kromya Art Gallery, with offered aperitif Saturday, September 26, 2026, 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM: - Meeting point: Main entrance of Palazzo dei Congressi Lugano, Piazza Indipendenza 4, Lugano - Street art tour and visit to the IMAGO Art Gallery Friday, November 13, 2026, 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM: - Visit to three art galleries (to be determined) with an aperitif On request, it is possible to organize the tour on other dates, for small groups or individuals (for a fee).
