In 2027, the cult band from the lake returns - exactly one year after their castle premiere! For almost two decades, Papi and his eight Pumpels have been delighting their audience. They spread their good mood and really heat up the crowd – after the sensational show in 2026, the re-invitation to the Honberg Summer was almost a must. They play German Schlager because they have a great time themselves and love that Schlager music brings just as much joy to their audience across all age groups: the grandchild rocks (or “pumpels”) with grandma! The Pumpels reinterpret the Schlager of the 1970s, they “pumpel” the songs in their Schlager show with concert character. Their repertoire draws from the colorful Schlager world of the seventies – with hits from Udo Jürgens to Howard Carpendale to Roland Kaiser, Rudi Carrell or Karat and of course their own cult hit “We love Lake Constance”. This makes every Pumpel night a colorful mix of top-class music and plenty of action and fun on stage and in the audience!
