Broom Bezzums, one of the leading folk bands of the republic - Powerful New Folk

Description

Since 2005, Mark Bloomer and Andrew Cadie have become one of the leading folk bands of the republic as 'Broom Bezzums'. Their close harmony singing captivates audiences and immerses them in a world of fiddle, Northumbrian Small Pipes, Bouzouki, guitar, bottleneck, and percussion. The focus of their program is on their excellent original songs, such as 'Cold Winds Blow', which charted in the German radio charts, or the modern shanty 'Keep Hauling' from the British film hit 'Fisherman's Friends'. With a unique blend of this skillful, infectious music and their inimitable humorous and concise announcements, delivered in (almost) perfect German, the duo provides an impressive spectator experience and a steadily growing fan base. Timely for their 20th anniversary, 'Standing Strong', the long-awaited 6th studio album by Broom Bezzums, is released. The previous album, 'No Smaller Than The World', won the German Record Critics' Award and was praised for its consistently high quality. At the Tuttlinger Nachtkultur 2025, Broom Bezzums played 'five times a full cultural house', and the audience was enthusiastic.
