A reunion and re-listening with the Sicilian singer-songwriter, who celebrates life on his tour with a new lineup and new album "Fra guerra e pace": "Life is beautiful as it is," even in these times of war. Pippo Pollina, the versatile Sicilian musician, has been one of the most creative artists in the European singer-songwriter scene for over thirty years. Countless record productions, international tours, and prestigious collaborations (including with Georges Moustaki, Konstantin Wecker, Werner Schmidbauer) have earned him this special status, which he has achieved through consistency and commitment both in the studio and live on stage. His music is great art, full of wonderful melodies and poetry. Accompanied by cellist Cecile Grüebler, pianist Elisa Sandrini, percussionist Gionata Colaprisca, and clarinetist Roberto Petroli, he will bring his new chamber music-style concert project to the stages of Europe. His album "Fra guerra e pace," released in December 2025, is a political statement, a poetic warning, and also a glimmer of hope in turbulent times. It tells of historical and current war events and what they do to people. Pollina dedicates it "to the innocents who die under bombs, falling from the sky of this world."
