Emilia Amper, one of Sweden's most sought-after folk musicians, meets Swiss sound artist Carlo Niederhauser. Together they chase through the endless realms of their musical worlds, located somewhere between Stockholm and Bern. With great joy of playing and untamed spirit of discovery, they captivate the audience. Here the exuberant energy and contagious joie de vivre that leaves no leg still; there moments of calm and endless dreams. But it is like looking at the starry sky at night. There is always ORION. Emilia Amper (Nyckelharpa, vocals) is nominated for the Swedish and American Grammy, winner of the Norwegian Grammy, Artist of the Year at the Swedish Folk & World Music Awards, world champion on the Nyckelharpa, honored as the national folk musician of the kingdom and winner of the NPU prize, the prize of the Nordic composers.
Concerts and workshops worldwide. She tours with Emilia Amper Band (Andres Löfberg and Fredrik Gille), ODE (Dan Knagg, Olle Linder), Nadin Al Khalidi (Tarabband), Björn Meyer’s Garden of Silence as well as ECM accordionist Frode Haltli and violinist Vegar Vardal. She also performs as a soloist with various orchestras.

Carlo Niederhauser (cello) is nominated for the German Record Critics' Award. His musical work is versatile and known beyond national borders. It ranges from film music (Der Imker, Peter K. – Alone against the State, Before they pass away) to electronic music (OUT Sessions with Werner Hasler) to Björn Meyer’s Garden of Silence and ZeitverLUST with hammered dulcimer virtuoso Barbara Schirmer. Collaborations with Don Li, Ania Losinger, Homayoun Shajarian, Andreas Schaerer, Michael Zisman, Mario Batkovic and many more.
