From April 12 to November 22, the Regional Museum Gantrisch presents the exhibition «potztuusig plus 1!».

In 2025, Schwarzenburg celebrated a very special anniversary: 1000 years of history and stories. The anniversary year has also left its mark on the exhibition in the museum.
In the entrance area, insights into concerts, festivals, theater performances, art installations and exhibitions, book vernissages, readings, and lectures in 2025 form a colorful contrast to the rather sober start in the year of the first mention almost 1000 years ago. In the attic, the 1000 portraits from the eponymous anniversary project, which already attracted great interest at the village festival, are exhibited until the end of the season.

The Regional Museum Gantrisch invites you to experience a fascinating journey through time with the exhibition «potztuusig!». From the first documented clearings to the defining events of modern times – the exhibition highlights themes such as power and powerlessness, economy and poverty, as well as the stories of emigrants and those who stayed.
