Description
Cie Les âmes nocturnes: Au bonheur des vivants
Pantomime, Clowning, Acrobatics, Illusion Theater Inspired by Buster Keaton, Gaston Lagaffe, and the Addams Family, the duo Les Âmes Nocturne (The Night Souls) defies gravity in an extraordinary show where anything is possible. Guided by the logic of dreams, two clowns search and interact in the mysterious and intimate atmosphere of the night. She, with wild hair and a grandfather-style shirt, is cheeky and lovable at the same time. He, with two black spots that envelop his large eyes with nostalgia, twirls and dreams. Having landed from somewhere, these two unfortunate companions meet for a fleeting visit in the world of the living. As a crowd favorite at the Avignon Festival, this show is an ode to illusion: objects come to life, gravity disappears, and everything escapes – a reflection of the madness of life... At the intersection of burlesque and circus, Au Bonheur des vivants humorously and tenderly draws from universal imagination, creating a strong bond of familiarity between the audience and the stage.
