Great ideas! Looking for inspiration? Do you want to work together, exchange ideas with like-minded people? Or do you need support in implementing your textile projects? Then you are right at the Open Textile Studio. Our textile studio offers you the opportunity to try out a variety of textile techniques in an inspiring atmosphere. The studio takes place under changing leadership, so each meeting offers new impulses and creative approaches. Here you can expand your skills, learn new methods, and let your creativity run free. We look forward to your participation and exciting, varied hours in the Open Textile Studio! We offer individual advice, provide suggestions, and supply work materials. The Open Textile Studio takes place one Saturday a month at the Textile Museum St. Gallen. The dates can be found in our online event calendar. The studios are posted 4-6 weeks before the event date. Or sign up for our monthly newsletter, which provides information about current exhibitions and events. Participation in the Open Textile Studio is only possible with registration. We charge a fee of 25 CHF per workshop, which includes the museum visit. Members of the Textile Museum Association receive a 10% discount on the participation fee.
