The film tells of the consequences of the iconic “KIDNAPPED” poster campaign, which quickly became the trigger for intense confrontations between pro-Israeli and pro-Palestinian New Yorkers. TORN sheds light on the motives behind the posting and tearing down of the posters – a proxy conflict in stickers and torn paper.
