NICOLE BERNEGGER – "ALCHEMY" When Nicole Bernegger played with her band for the first time at MAUZ in January 2025, it became one of those evenings that stay. Everything was perfect. The shared meal, the encounter with the band, the atmosphere in the room – and then this concert. A fantastic band, an electrifying voice, and an audience that was captivated from the first minute. We saw happy faces and, here and there, a few tears. And at the end of this evening, it was clear to us: this Soul Family must return. Now they are coming back. And they bring "Alchemy" with them. The new album continues what already excited us so much back then: powerful ballads, earthy Americana, psychedelic moments, and irresistibly grooving soul, somewhere between the 60s and 70s, yet very much in the here and now. Nicole Bernegger and her seven-piece Soul Family perform this music with warmth, joy of playing, and presence that unfolds its full power especially in an intimate club setting.
