Description

This format is equally popular among audiences like dancers in the basement. Therefore, the ensemble is pleased to present a self-created evening again this season. As the previous editions of "Next Matters" have shown, the ensemble members are bursting with ideas for their own works. They think in all directions and enjoy the opportunity to leave their role as dancers and to choreograph pieces independently, work dramaturgically, or also incorporate music. This different kind of collaborative work is always an important and enriching exchange for the ensemble, which bonds them together. At the same time, the platform offers them important practice to experiment in fields where their professional future might lie after their stage career ends.

General Information

"Next Matters" is a creative format where the members of TanzLuzern choreograph their own works. The event takes place in the basement in Lucerne and offers dancers the opportunity to realize their artistic ideas and try out new ways.
