After Winter / Après l'hiver

Description

Grass is growing. An egg cracks open. And there? A caterpillar! That is spring. And what comes next? Then summer, then autumn, then winter ... and then? Two players draw and play in the rhythm of the seasons. Sounds from Vivaldi's "Four Seasons" accompany them. Paper is illuminated with drawings, projections, figures, and shadow play, colored, crumpled, and sometimes torn. Like a cocoon, it becomes a fragile space for the transformation of the seasons.
