Description
Bach and Mozart – festive music for the Sunday of Eternity On Saturday, November 21, at 8 p.m., the Great Mass in C minor by Mozart and the cantata "Aus der Tiefen" by Johann Sebastian Bach will be performed at the Friedenskirche Heidelberg-Handschuhsheim. Both works are characterized by captivating choirs, heartfelt arias, great harmonic richness, and beautiful instrumentation. The solos will be sung by Sabine Goetz and Carmen Buchert (soprano), Sebastian Hübner (tenor), and Matthias Horn (bass). The consort, specialized in Baroque music, 1585 consort, will perform under the accompaniment of the Chamber Philharmonic Mannheim. The concert is conducted by Kantor Michael Braatz-Tempel.
