Two men meet on a windy plateau and have one last big conversation: They talk about the big and small annoyances of aging, about sensitivities and impossibilities. Between rebellion and deep life reflection, they negotiate the place of the elderly in society, talk about their families, and ask how to say goodbye with dignity.
It is a theater project that does not tell about age but embodies it. Werner Bodinek and Marco Käppeli look back on decades of music and theater work and give the topic an urgency and authenticity through their presence that goes far beyond a mere understanding of characters. Hansjörg Schertenleib – a multiple award-winning writer of prose, theater texts, and radio plays – writes a dialogue in his unmistakable handwriting that is absurd, profound, and surprisingly light-footed.
