Since winning their first prize at the ARD Music Competition, Magali Mosnier has been one of the leading flutists worldwide. When Nils Mönkemeyer on the viola and Anneleen Lenaerts on the harp join her, musical excellence is guaranteed.
Matching the Advent season, the top trio presents impressionistic and (sensual) compositions from 20th-century France. Among them are world-famous standards by Maurice Ravel and Gabriel Fauré, as well as works outside the common repertoire by André Jolivet and Jacques Ibert. All composers combine enchanting sound colors with a great sense of instrumentation. In short: Advent music à la française!
