Life doesn't affect everyone the same way. After more than forty years, people meet again and are amazed that not everyone has aged equally, not even those present here, not to mention the dead. Just recently still sharp, but probably not for long, they share stories of fulfilled and less fulfilled biographies. Some bluff and some deceive themselves, and the end comes for others faster than expected, a fireworks display at the wrong time.
