Description

We owe not only blues and swing to the diaspora, but also samba, tango, klezmer, and the music of the Sinti and Roma. An omnipresent instrument is the violin, which like no other can tell the heartbreaking and humorous stories of the homeless. It is also the focus of Eisinger's program. Accompanied by two guitars, bass, and alternating saxophone and clarinet, the German-Israeli violinist Max Eisinger celebrates the cultural wealth of the 20th century and thus pays homage to the music that almost disappeared forever from the German cultural landscape during the darkest times. Max Eisinger, born in 1993, first picked up a violin at the age of five. At eleven, he debuted with the Munich Philharmonic. Regular performances as a soloist, jazz and orchestral musician shaped his childhood and youth. General Information

The concert takes place at the Museum Art.Plus in Donaueschingen and features a variety of musical styles from the diaspora. Max Eisinger and his band interpret works by well-known composers and celebrate the cultural wealth of the 20th century.
