Jammin' in the name of the Lord: With a lot of groove and great joy of playing, vintage keyboard master Matti Klein presents his new album 'Soul Trio Bouncin' In Bubbleverse'. This means 'bouncing in the bubble universe' of the small filter bubbles and algorithms of social media. 'We are constantly bouncing around,' explains Klein, born in 1984, who has toured with the funk jazz band Mo'Blow and arranged for Herbert Grönemeyer. With his Soul Trio, founded in 2017, the Berlin musician is dedicated to 70s soul-funk. Klein describes the special feature of the new album as 'echoes': the trio takes elements from the previously played song and incorporates them in altered form into the new track. This way, the stories develop into shared narratives, forming the basis of an elongated, condensed collective jam. Definitely danceable. In cooperation with the Jazzinitiative Schwetzingen.
