Description
When does the aging of the brain begin – and what does it really mean? Martin Korte demonstrates based on current research that aging is much more than mental or physical decline. Rather, middle and higher life stages are developmental phases with special strengths and potentials. Korte dispels the myth of declining thinking and memory performance and explains how we can positively influence the aging process through our lifestyle and remain mentally capable. Because there are no fixed biological age limits. Prof. Dr. Martin Korte is a professor of cellular neurobiology and director of the Zoological Institute at TU Braunschweig. His research focuses on the cellular foundations of learning and memory as well as the processes of forgetting. He is known to a broader public through his books and lectures.
