The Mosaic Season of the Conservatoire populaire highlights the artistic skills of its teachers by providing them with a stage to share their work as artists, dancers, actors, musicians, performers, and/or composers. This year, the Mosaic Season program invites the public to discover five artistic events centered around diversity, sharing, and creation. From Cuba to European baroque, from contemporary harp to percussion inspired by jazz and groove, up to the sound energies of Vertixe Sonora Ensemble, this program fosters dialogue between aesthetics, generations, and disciplines.
Immerse yourself in the universe of Eric Sammut, an essential marimbist and composer, whose music blends jazz, groove, and Gypsy and Latin influences. Through works like Mirages, Crawl, Walk, Run, or Magic Carousel, the percussion will become lyrical, energetic, and enchanting, taking you on a true sound journey. Students from the Conservatoire populaire will also participate in the concert, bringing freshness and energy to this musical moment. A vibrant and immersive evening, where the richness of timbres and the pulsation of rhythms will carry the audience into a real musical carousel.
With the teachers of the percussion department, their students, and guest teachers from the Conservatoire populaire. Free entry.
The ticket prices for the Mosaic Season shows are free. Everyone can choose to pay what they wish. All proceeds are donated to the Conservatoire populaire Support Fund.
