LOUIS MATUTE LARGE ENSEMBLE feat. JOYCE MORENO + Frederico Heliodoro This evening was born from a collaboration between the Geneva associations ENCONTRO and KINCH around a shared goal: to celebrate the richness and evolution of jazz and Brazilian music across different generations of artists. Opening, Frederico Heliodoro, one of the most fascinating voices in contemporary Brazilian jazz. Between Rio, New York, and major international stages, he embodies a new generation of Brazilian musicians alongside artists such as Kurt Rosenwinkel, Louis Cole, or Pedro Martins. In the second part, the prodigious Louis Matute presents Dolce Vita in Large Ensemble with Brazilian icon, Joyce Moreno — a living legend of bossa nova, who has collaborated with the biggest names in Brazilian music, from Tom Jobim to Milton Nascimento. Between heritage, modernity, and reinvention, this evening offers a journey through the multiple faces of Brazilian music, from its historical figures to its contemporary expressions.
