Description
Move. Donate. Help.
The Lions Joggathlon is a charity event and mass sports event for the whole family. On Sunday, September 27, 2026, runners, walkers, wheelchair users, people with mobility impairments, children, families, and corporate teams are welcome from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Platzspitz Park near Zurich main station. Whether jogging, walking, or rolling: every lap counts. Participants get sponsored per lap completed or make a contribution themselves. There is a 700-meter course for joggers and a 370-meter course for walkers, wheelchair users, people with mobility impairments, and children. Entry, exit, and breaks are possible at any time. In addition to moving for a good cause, participants can expect a diverse supporting program with warm-up sessions, live lap timing, free isotonic drinks on the course, calf relaxation by the Multiple Sclerosis Physiotherapy Specialist Group, food from the grill and pastries, music, a stadium announcer, as well as games and face painting for children. The proceeds benefit people with multiple sclerosis and their relatives. It enables, among other things, relief stays for care-dependent affected persons and their relatives and supports MS research. Best times are secondary – winners are all who participate.
