Description
Fifty years ago, a special friendship began that still exists today. A small yellow balloon overcomes borders and gives six-year-old Stefanie from Dossenheim near Heidelberg a pen pal from Lommatzsch near Meißen in spring 1977. Over the years, they connect their lives through countless letters. Stefanie Wally tells the true story of this deep and unusual friendship and describes what the generation born in the 1970s was involved in. A story about two friends in divided Germany, written in a lively and thought-provoking manner. A female friendship that overcomes borders.
