Lisa Quentin, born in 1985, studied German studies and psychology in Freiburg and worked for ten years as an advertising copywriter and online editor before turning writing into her profession. Together with her husband and their three children, she lives in Lübeck. When she accidentally learned about the profession of amber fisherwoman, she was fascinated and began researching the colorful, often legendary cultural history of fossil resin. Since then, amber, which can tell so much about the prehistory of the Earth, has not let her go.
