Kalmann is a lovable eccentric in the village of Raufarhöfn high in the rugged north of Iceland. His novels, including 'Kalmann' and 'Tell', are bestsellers and have won numerous awards, including the Crime Cologne Award and most recently the Glauser Prize. The dual citizen lives with his wife and two children in Reykjavík.
