Summer 1971. Raped by an 18-year-old boy, Marie-Claire, 16, becomes pregnant and refuses to keep the child, despite a law criminalizing abortion. Around her, her mother and several women organize to help but the clandestine intervention goes wrong. A year later, all are charged. The defense lawyer, Gisèle Halimi, turns the Bobigny trial into a major political act. Through their courage, these women shake the law and open a breach in history. On a bare and fragmented stage, the staging questions justice, caught between dogma and reality. A play that, 50 years later, resonates with the fight for the right to abortion with burning intensity.
