The lautten compagney BERLIN invites parents, grandparents, aunts, and godparents with babies under 18 months to experience early music up close. In the peaceful atmosphere of the Nazareth Church at Leopoldplatz, parents can enjoy music from the Renaissance and Baroque periods to minimal music and The Beatles, allowing for a short break from everyday life. Children also listen, watch, and react. Music for the very, very little ones. For those perceiving their environment for the first time and discovering exciting sounds. The approximately 30-minute concerts are intentionally short and tailored to the needs of our youngest listeners and their parents. There will be no traditional seating, and the little ones can move freely around the church during the concert. Feel free to bring your own blankets. Il pianto della Madonna - Marian Lament: Vocal and instrumental music by Claudio Monteverdi (1567-1643), Giulio Caccini (1551-1618), and Biagio Marini (1594-1663). The program "Il pianto della Madonna" was developed for Good Friday 2021. It features music designed to encourage reflection, contemplation, and empathy in our constantly excited times.
