Laboratorium Pieśni – SEPTEM-Tour Laboratorium Pieśni / Song Laboratory returns to Switzerland to sing Roots and Hearts songs in female polyphony and to celebrate the release of the latest album "SEPTEM"! The concerts of Laboratorium Pieśni are a journey through the colorful world of polyphony. The ensemble performs original arrangements of traditional multi-voiced songs, including those from Slavic, Balkan, and Baltic countries, as well as their own compositions. The songs can be experienced both a cappella and with shamanic drums and other ethnic instruments such as Shruti box, flutes, glockenspiels, and rattles. The arrangements presented combine ancient tradition with polyphonic improvisation, intimate sounds, and harmony with the wild expression of raw voices in intuitive compositions often inspired by nature and paratheatrical elements. The artists about the new album "SEPTEM": SEPTEM We are seven. Seven melodies, seven songs about the world. The number seven stands for perfection, wholeness, holiness, and cosmic order. In many cultures, it is considered a mystical symbol that connects heaven and earth and symbolizes the cycle of creation, time, and spiritual depth. In numerology, the number seven symbolizes the search for truth and intuition and represents the wise one who seeks deeper meaning and truth. We carry the memory of the stars, of the constellations of the sky, within us. We carry human stories within us that flow like rivers, blow like winds, erupt like volcanoes, and blaze like fires. We continue to wander together on the same earth and sing songs where the alchemy of the elements intertwines with the simple and everyday – the path of each of us. Life has led us to a place where we celebrate our new album "Septem" – derived from the Latin word for "seven". Latin as an ancient language – much like songs – echoes ancient legends and universal stories that connect us on many levels. This album is the fruit of our over ten-year shared journey. A journey – a path where each of us contributes her unique gift to the whole of the song that we are. * * * The ensemble has already performed in over 20 countries worldwide. The music video of Laboratorium Pieśni with the traditional song "Sztoj pa moru" has reached over 17 million views on YouTube, where they have over 200,000 subscribers.
