Description

A choir that no longer exists meets on a stage. Nothing happens. Hardened landscape. And then, very quietly, someone begins to sing. Memories arise – of songs, mountains, and the sea. How does community form? How do we meet in a world marked by lines of conflict, how do we withstand it and face conflicts united as friends? "Klapa" is a Dalmatian, multi-voiced a cappella singing. Patricija Katica Bronić and her team combine it in "Klapa" with Swiss yodeling and begin a performative dialogue between cultures and people. Before the performance on Saturday, there is an opportunity to sing together under the direction of Patricija Katica Bronić. Workshop before the performance on 19.12.2026 Joint open singing. "Klapa" combines Dalmatian a cappella singing with Swiss yodeling and creates a dialogue between cultures. The event takes place at Bühne Aarau and offers an open workshop for communal singing before the performance.
