Jovana Nikic – many know her as the host of our special Poetry Slam, the Slam-OLYMP, or as a comedian from «Bärner Meitschi». Now, the Bernese young talent is showcasing her second solo program: «preserved». Tested last November on the Cappella stage, then preserved and now matured, she presents!
What do photo albums, pickled gherkins, jam, and frozen eggs have in common? They are all examples of human nature, things to preserve. A game against time. In «preserved», Jovana Nikic explores sweet jam memories and the transience of life. With sardine-salty punchlines, Ötzi-cold facts, and a good amount of poetry as balm for the soul.
