Description
Breathing and moving are essential to take care of your heart. This dance and musical visit was imagined, created, and performed by the Gnawa musician Khalil Bensid, the Afro-contemporary dancer and choreographer Filibert Tologo, and cultural mediator Ana Luisa Castillo. In the permanent exhibition of the MEG, the choreographer invites participants to get moving and dance to the sound of pieces inspired by Gnawa music. These moments alternate with the discovery of cultural assets related to breath and life. A collective experience to feel the connections between breath, movement, and heart health. On the occasion of World Heart Day organized by the HUG, the MEG offers several activities at Jonction, in collaboration with the City of Geneva's Community Health Unit. A day to talk about cardiovascular prevention through health, culture, and movement.Highlights
