Description

A historic house – the “Wirtshaus im Schlachthof”. Here was filmed the legendary TV series “Zur Freiheit”. Parts of the TV series “Um Himmels Willen” were also shot here. After 17 years of “Ottis Schlachthof”, the cult restaurant becomes the filming location of the new cabaret format “schlachthof”, which features national cabaret stars. But even outside of TV recordings, other artists present their programs almost daily in the four event spaces. Soloists, bands, and newcomers give their best in cabaret, comedy, readings, and live concerts. Participants: Kultur im Schlachthof - Comedy & Kabarett

General Information

The Wirtshaus im Schlachthof in Munich is becoming the new center for cabaret and comedy. In addition to recordings, live concerts, readings, and other events regularly take place, appealing to a broad audience.
